Baishaki Mela
Taking place in the streets and parks of the East End of London, this is one of the largest street event in London (after the Notting Hill Carnival and Regent Street Festival). It is the official celebration of the Bangladeshi New Year and attracts crowds in excess of 90,000 from across then UK and international locations. Proceedings from the two main stages are broadcast live by satellite to Bangladesh. Bliss Events carries out budget management, all event and production services including Health and Safety control, statutory authority liaison, all of which can be described as “making it happen” in a very difficult environment.
