"I would like to thank you for the support that you have given the Campaign to End Child Poverty and the Keep the Promise event. With your help we were able to ensure Saturday was a fantastic day. Not only did we get the thousands of people we needed to put significant pressure on the Government but also the carnival atmosphere ensured everyone enjoyed taking part."

London Week of Peace Concert

The London Week of Peace is an annual week of high profile events, initiatives and action aiming to promote a community cohesion, safety and peace across the capital. The event was launched in Haringey in September 2001 as a response to local community safety concerns, with thousands of people attending a peace concert, peace walk and prayer walks around crime hotspots. Since then, the event has grown considerably and in 2006 became a London-wide event.

For the past two years, the London Week of Peace Peace has also organised a large concert in Trafalgar Square, in September 2007 and September 2008, both concerts highlighting the top young talent from the 32 London boroughs and also bringing together many artists and celebrities who are campaigning for peace.

Bliss Events managed both concerts for the Peace Alliance.
